Gilded chair of Sitamen
General Information

A gilded wooden chair dedicated to princess Sitamen, it depicted the princess seated on a chair and offering bearer offering to her, this scene is depicted twice upon the chair, and each scene faces another one. A columns of vertical inscriptions crowned the top of the chair.

General Comments

The chair is one of the treasures of the Egyptian museum of cairo. Princess Sitamen was the daughter of Amenhotep III and queen Tiye, and it was found in their tomb.
